Point Leflore N.E. 2 mi at junction of Tallahatchie and Yalobusha Rivers is site of extinct town founded in 1830's by Greenwood Leflore. Achieved great prosperity in era before Civil War.	Greenwood Founded by John Williams as Williams Landing 1834. Chartered as Greenwood 1844. Since 1917 has been the worlds largest long stable cotton market.
